Senior Java DEV Engineer

Your mission will be to maintain, evolve, and create new backend applications, migrate legacy systems, and integrate with third-party providers using technologies like Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and Oracle DB within a collaborative Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into high-quality, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Design, build, and maintain high-performance applications using the Spring Framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Integrate with external data sources and APIs.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join an Agile squad dedicated to insurance applications for a major player in the financial industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience by working on crucial backend systems. Requirements:
At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Java Developer (mandatory).
Proven knowledge of Java, Spring, Maven, RESTful APIs, and Oracle DB (mandatory).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube (mandatory).
Deep understanding of OO principles, design patterns, and best practices like SOLID.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a 'software craftsman' mindset.
Strong communication skills in English (mandatory); Dutch or French is a plus.
