Senior Data Scientist
Join a leading financial institution in Brussels as a Senior Data Scientist. You will build and deploy responsible AI models to optimize marketing campaigns. Your mission includes enhancing customer reach and relevance using Python, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and LLMs for text classification and summarization. You will work within a dynamic team to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, building pipelines for web analytics and creating models that support customer journey-driven marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Tackle various business challenges by creating responsible AI models for Marketing and Communication needs.
Capture business requirements, determine feasibility, build models, and set up tests to measure model impact.
Build models to support customer journey driven marketing campaigns.
Create pipelines that clean and structure web analytics data and use LLMs to detect customer intent.
Apply responsible AI guidelines, monitor, and deploy models in production using a comprehensive tool stack.
Present technical concepts and actionable insights to business owners.
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a major player in the financial services industry. The mission is to leverage AI to make marketing and communication campaigns more impactful and efficient. You will be part of the Predictive Models team, responsible for creating innovative and responsible AI solutions. This role requires a 50% on-site presence in Brussels, offering a collaborative environment where you can share expertise and drive projects that optimize customer and employee engagement through data.
Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science).
At least 5 years of relevant experience (mandatory).
Expert in Python and its data science ecosystem (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) (mandatory).
Expertise in customer journey modeling (e.g., next best action) (mandatory).
Expertise in using LLMs for text classification, interpretability, and validation (mandatory).
Proficiency in git, bash, and SQL (mandatory).
Experience with uplift modeling, Marketing Mix Modeling, SAS, or Streamlit is a plus.
Languages: Fluent in English, and fluent in either Dutch or French.
