Senior Data Quality Analyst

Join a leading financial institution in Brussels as a Senior Data Quality Analyst. You will analyze, improve, and validate data quality controls for management accounting and ALM reporting systems. Your role involves understanding complex data flows, identifying root causes of anomalies, and defining remediation plans. You will leverage your expertise in SQL, data visualization (Tableau), and data analytics to enhance reporting and ensure data integrity within a dynamic finance solutions team.

Responsibilities:

Analyze Data Quality Controls and understand complex data flows from various operating systems. Use data analytics, visualization (Tableau), and scripting to identify root causes of data anomalies. Define remediation action plans and write detailed business requirements for IT teams. Create a clear roadmap for the implementation and homologation of the controls. Prepare, coordinate, and execute testing by analyzing delivered results versus expected outcomes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of KPI control dashboards. Ensure proactive and clear communication with all stakeholders, including management and data managers.
We are seeking a Functional Analyst for the Accounting & Reporting Solutions team at a major financial institution. This team manages finance systems, contributes to group-wide projects, and ensures local requirements are met. Your mission is to analyze, improve, and validate Data Quality Controls for extra-accounting data sourced towards Management Accounting Systems and delivered to the ALM Group Reporting Tool. You will be a key player in securing qualitative and efficient finance system functionalities in a project-driven environment.

Requirements:

At least 6 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst or in a similar function within a financial institution (mandatory). Strong technical experience with IT systems like SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel (mandatory). Solid business experience with ALM data and processes (mandatory). Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects or Cognos is a plus. Knowledge of banking accounting is considered an advantage. Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) and French (spoken). Possesses a strong analytical mind, is solution-driven, rigorous, autonomous, and a collaborative team player.
