Production Data Engineer Logging and Monitoring

As a Production Data Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and performance of critical applications by implementing and configuring cutting-edge logging and monitoring solutions. Your main responsibilities will involve leveraging tools like Dynatrace, IBM Netcool, ELK, and Sysdig, developing automation scripts, and collaborating within an agile squad to maintain high availability and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement and configure monitoring and logging solutions (Dynatrace, IBM Netcool, ELK, Sysdig) aligned with Event and Incident Management processes.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate, customize, and optimize tools.
Act as the go-to expert, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting complex issues.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and API integrations to streamline monitoring workflows.
Ensure compliance with standards and contribute to defining guidelines for new cloud solutions.
We are looking for a senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dedicated Logging and Monitoring squad for our client, a leader in the financial industry. This agile team is responsible for designing, building, and testing valuable monitoring elements to ensure the stability of critical applications. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, working with cutting-edge technologies like Dynatrace, IBM Netcool, Sysdig, and ELK, while also exploring emerging solutions in IT Cloud and dMZR environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high availability and performance standards.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with Monitoring/Logging Tools: Dynatrace, IBM Netcool Operation Insights, Sysdig, ELK (Log as a Service), IBM Cloud Logs (mandatory).
Proven skills in Scripting/Automation: PowerShell, API integrations (mandatory).
Knowledge of Cloud/Infrastructure: IT Cloud, IBM dMZR As Code (nice-to-have).
Familiarity with Processes: EVM (Event Management), INC (Incident Management), ITIL/ITSM (nice-to-have).
Good knowledge of English and Dutch or French.
Strong analytical skills, team spirit, and an agile mindset.
