IT Project Manager - Cloud Migration Expert
Join a major cloud migration program for a leading company in the banking and insurance sector. As an IT Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of local migration activities. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring compliance with group standards. This role requires strong expertise in cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS, Kubernetes), project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and IT security. You will act as the key liaison between local teams and central corporate entities.
Responsibilities:
Define and pilot the cloud migration roadmap and detailed planning in collaboration with central teams.
Coordinate and monitor the activities of local technical teams, ensuring on-time delivery.
Manage project budget, resource consumption, and risks.
Ensure the implementation and alignment of Cloud best practices (FinOps, DevSecOps, SecOps).
Act as the primary point of contact with central program teams, Cloud CoE, and providers.
Prepare and lead Project and Steering Committee meetings, ensuring clear reporting to management.
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to spearhead a large-scale cloud migration initiative for a key client in the financial services industry. You will be the local technical lead, responsible for piloting all activities within a multi-year 'Move To Cloud' program. Your mission involves defining the migration roadmap, managing detailed planning, coordinating local technical teams, and ensuring alignment with central IT functions and security policies. This is a critical role that bridges local execution with global strategy, demanding strong leadership and technical acumen to drive a successful transformation.
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in complex international technical projects, such as corporate cloud migrations (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of cloud strategy and operational implementation (mandatory).
Technical knowledge: CI/CD toolchains, JAVA, IaaS/PaaS, RHEL, Docker, Kubernetes, and various database systems (mandatory).
Expertise in Project Management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, KANBAN) and Risk Management (mandatory).
Good knowledge of IT security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST).
Education: IT Engineer degree or equivalent.
Languages: Fluent French (mandatory) and a sound knowledge of English (B2 minimum, mandatory).
