Expert Business Analyst - Daily Banking
We are seeking an Expert Business Analyst for a major client in the banking sector. You will join a transactional squad to analyze and enhance daily banking operations. Your mission involves bridging business needs and IT solutions, defining requirements, and improving processes using your expertise in banking products and systems (mainframe/distributed applications). This role is based in Brussels.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate incoming change requests and project scopes.
Identify solutions and improvements in collaboration with the squad.
Develop detailed business requirements and define acceptance criteria.
Act as the main interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Define the target operating model and system interfaces.
Prepare and execute Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).
Follow-up on the implementation of changes and new features.

As an Expert Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex issues and driving improvements for daily banking services. Your primary objective is to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders and IT teams. This position offers a hybrid work model, with an expectation of 50% on-site presence to foster collaboration.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in a banking environment (mandatory).
Deep business expertise in daily banking products and processes (mandatory).
Good understanding of technical banking environments, including mainframe and distributed applications.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management is a plus.
Strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
Languages: Good spoken Dutch and French, strong written and spoken English (mandatory).
